Well done to the 100 % teams.

Saints defence showing needs shoring up fast.

Good to see the Foxes blazing a trail.
Thanks for the round up, ER.

This is getting a little way beyond scary - when we went one down in the second half I thought here we go - winter and no more swallows ...... but heavens above we have a prolific Paynter!!!

Well done Stockport ER - but to swallow a braver pill in probably the wrong place, I liked the Whitracre River Cam - takes all sorts and all sorts of teams .........

What a lovely afternoon at the Boleyn!

A bit of a sweat as West Ham pressed on for an equaliser but overall a superb effort from the Foxes.

        Well done again Edgey.

Palace unlucky not get something with neither side really deserving to win. They missed a good chance to go 2-1 ahead, (new man Connor Wickham hit the post) and Coquelin should have been sent off for double yellow.

1-0, 1-0.... we're winning. Boring, but winning. So I'm not complaining. Much. Yet.

I sometimes wonder how many hours I have spent considering which Scottish team to support. My instinct has always been for Celtic but I also like Inverness and Ross County. The problem there in terms of a second team is that I can't decide which of those two I prefer. When the Mick Marra song was first brought to my attention, the dilemma seemed to have been solved. It would have to be Dundee Utd. The simultaneous discovery of the great ‎D. C. Thomson & Co having their origins in Dundee reinforced the new position. Then I listened to an interview with Marra in which he said that he actually supported Dundee. That, alas, took the edge off Utd. Currently it's Celtic, probably Dundee Utd, probably Ross County and an I am not sure. Purchase of a shirt is still on hold. (France - Marseille and Evian, Holland - Ajax, Italy - AC Milan, Spain - oh dear, should it be Deportivo, Real Betis, Valencia, Atletico, Barcelona etc? That is, should you be wondering which nobody will be if they know what is best for them and have to fit in a few other things in their lives)

("Lower the tone, why don't you")

                          Butland/Ruddy
                          Ivanovic/Koscielny/Gomez/Francis
                          Janmaat....but maybe not for long
                          Hazard/Silva/Mane/Mahrez/Coquelin
                          Benteke/Kane/Berahino

Oh, I support Fort William in Scotland. I support Stockport County in England, so life has been difficult. But at least County is doing well this season, unlike Fort William who have a run of 4 defeats.

And I believe you live in Yorkshire?

Double points for difficulty re Stockport County.

Ah well, I spent most of my early life in the Stockport area, and it's said that your loyalty is always to the first team you ever watched live. Definitely true in my case.

As for Fort William - last season was really good. We didn't finish bottom, but 13th out of 18.
