football is not 'rubbish', nor 'collage', nor 'nouveau roman', nor 'music concrete', nor 'bricolage' .... all of which both use and produce said category ... and neither these 'objects', nor football, constitute waste; and they may not be recycled in colour coded containers which make unaware structures in the street on a periodic basis ...

Riveting second half commentary from King Power Stadium this afternoon as Leicester spurned chances to go out of sight, clung on when Swansea came back at them and eventually got the second - terrific radio...and great result for A.

Chelsea park the bus, and at home! Has this club got no class whatsoever?

They deserve to be top of the league, but Arsenal, Man City and Man United play open, attacking football when they win the Premiership. Victory for Chelsea, a loss for football.

              Great round up, ER.

Well the Owls have done their best to sink Bompey's promotion bid......but all still to play for.

Pretty poor effort all round from the board teams today.

Saints fans still hoping that Eastleigh can make it through the playoffs, mostly for the prospect of an Eastleigh/ portsmouth derby next season.

                Unbelievable stuff from Foxes!

Still a long way to go as Nigel says.

Been to Newbury races today, great action down there too.

Must look up how St Mirren did on Monday.

stop whining at the back! two main strikers out ....

Foxes played very well by the highlights on MOTD

and the Reading goal keeper was distraught at his mistake ... they played a blinder otherwise agains a disappointing Gunners side

Yes, but that's how Chelsea DO you - they're tactically astute and very skilful in the counter-attack - even without Costa. The move for the goal, with that backheel from Oscar to Hazard, was a peach. And they usually give few chances - Rooney should have taken his early one, and Falcao his later on. Last season, it wasn't Gerrard's slip that broke our title chase - it was just Chelsea, playing with a defined purpose. I still remember Mourinho prowling and growling along the Anfield touchline...!

Not whining, I just passionately believe in the beautiful game and will criticise anything that is even remotely 'anti-football. Whether that's Leeds United, back in the day, or anyone today.

And don't whinge because Arsenal are in the FA cup final. Despite a rotten first half of the season, Wenger's open, attacking approach to football is giving some late, but deserved returns.

Not so. This 'tactically astute' way is precisely what got Chelsea dumped out the Champions League by a 'footballing team' from the little French league. Chelsea could be lifting the trophy this year, if it weren't for their short-sighted approach.

i do agree Beef Oven and especially about Arsenal at their best, but yesterday's game was won because of a Reading goalkeeping mistake by an Arsenal team playing well below their capability .... it was an excellent game, not the usual semi-final grind, and this was entirely down to the efforts of Reading who surprised us all with their energy and engagement in the game if a bit slack in the final third

i also agree with you about Chelsea; they do not routinely score enough goals - the contain and attack strategy needs a tad better strike force .... nonetheless as jayne points out above the flashes of inspiration are 'peachy'

i do hope Mr Sherwood can upset jayne! and Mr Wenger! i once had business partners who are set to have their ashes scattered at Villa Park!
