The best Christmas present for me this year would be a win for Leicester City.

I can hardly imagine what it would feel like.

Should we lose to both Tottenham Hotspur and to Hull City then I fear for manager Nigel Pearson

If our results continue I think he might be offered a job further north!

Crystal Palace 1 Southampton 3. Forum derby,Saints back in top 4,Eagles no win in 6.
Leicester City 1 Spurs 2. Much improved display, some hope for the rest of the season.
Manchester United Association Football Club 3 Newcastle United 1.Toon well beaten,Rooney on fire.
Brighton 2 Reading 2. Fought back from 0-2 down, need Hyp replacement.
Sheffield Wednesday 1 Blackpool 0. First half penalty sealed the win.
Doncaster Rovers 2 Coventry City 0.Miserable afternoon,2 first half goals conceded and 2 second half red cards.
Portsmouth 0 Wimbldeon 2. Great away win,2 first half goals and helped by a red card for the hosts.
Mansfield Town 1 Hartlepool United 1. A decent away point in a crazy game of 3 red cards.
Southport 0 Wrexham 1. Sealed the win with a goal just after the break.
              Torquay United 1 Bristol Rovers 2.Good away win v a promotion rival,up to 2nd.
Chelmsford 1 Ebbsfleet United 5.Destroyed by a promotion rival, still in it at half time 1-2,then fell apart.
Stockport County 1 Colwyn Bay 1. Needed a late goal to salvage a point,3,165 watched this, amazing.
Truro City 5 Bideford 0.Amazing scoring run goes on,21 goals in the last 4 games

Robbed as far as I could see from MOTD, Rob. Stonewall penalty denied.

                  Good day for JC.

Dundee 1 St Mirren 3. Cracking away win, could have done with Ross County losing at Celtic though.
East Stirlingshire 1 Albion Rovers 4. Well beaten by the promotion chasers.

and Neil Warnock sacked by Crystal Palace !!!
wonder what Gurney makes of that ?

Thanks for a splendid effort as ever ER.

Go Buddies, go Buddies Go Go Go !!

what a great end of year boost.

(mind you, its not every day you read the phrase " a very good Dundee side").

The curse of the "home defeat by Saints" hits warnock. The Eagles have a big job on to find somebody up to the job. Sherwood seems well in the frame.

and les bleus should be scoring a lot more, it would better reflect the quality of their play ... still winning does fine!
