And a very sad farewell to the king of the sports jacket, the voice of Scottish football for my generation, the great Arthur Montford who has died at 85. He was the frontman for the long running 'Scotsport' on STV commentating on memorable Scottish victories and debacles. He was renowned for classic comments as when the ball was crossed into the penalty area, Arthur would usually say 'and up go the heads', or in any penalty box melee, 'What a stramash!' Fondly remembered.

Citeh very impressive, it has to be said. I was there, and there speed, strength, attitude and skill were very obvious.
also they were pretty niggly right the way through, but, probably think of that as "knowing how to look after yourself".

My pleasure at Palace's away draw at Swansea was greatly enhanced by hearing Garry Monk giving vent to his extreme annoyance at not having won the match since they were clearly "better team". Better they may be but still not good enough to beat us. Ha ha!
