I was driving from South of Edinburgh yesterday, ts, and we were entertained through heavy traffic and downpours by Radio Scotland's commentary. I was travelling with a Cream Bun (our affectionate name for the Ibrox crew) who was desperate for Hibs to be relegated as he seems to think it'll mean three of the four top-supported clubs would be in the Championship and that would be one in the neck for the dirty Bs who sunk his boys in blue.Originally posted by teamsaint View Post

Second half was all one-way traffic (as opposed to the one-lane traffic I was driving in) - but Hamilton only got the game into extra time with a last minute strike which brought the aggregate level (assist from the ever reliable Jason Scotland). There were 18000 at the game and the Hibs fans were already making their voices heard regarding Terry Butcher and the Board. Extra time was still all Hamilton as far as the commentary was going and Hamilton waltzed it in the shoot-out (four out of four). Hibs are in big trouble - at least one of those three (Hearts, Rangers, Hibs) has more than one season in the Championship awaiting them. It's not good for crowds but Hamilton are bringing through lots of young Scots so maybe it'll be good for the game. But the whole thing highlights the major difficulties for Scottish Footie...and of course Celtic are on the look out for a new manager - surely not Keane or Coyle!
