Completely right, a real lack of taking responsibility for penetration down the sides and centre....so many times you see the ball wasted in final third when it would have been easier put the ball in the box than playing another 5 or 6 pass the buck lateral balls....If you have Mesi in your team he will commit defenders - but only barce has mesi....

Thanks, ER. Inverness committed hari-kiri with a totally unnecessary penalty given away followed by an incredible diving headed own goal. Terry Butcher's departure from managing Inverness to Hibs in the autumn has been a total disaster for all concerned. Inverness were riding high in the league and Hibs were reasonably safe, since when Inverness have slumped to 5th (perhaps 6th by the end of the season) and Hibs are odds-on for the play-off place. Butcher stabbed Inverness in the back and the football gods are punishing him.

It's not long since Stockport were doing better than Man City in the 2nd tier.

Thanks for the last league update of the season, ER. Man City and Liverpool were the stand-out teams for quality of play and entertainment and MC shaded it on their superior defence so deserved champions. Honourable mentions to Southampton, Everton and Palace also (and Leicester in the Championship).

The Greek tragedy continues in the Athens of the North as Hibs enter the play-off fray. It's not looking at all good for them as they have forgotten how to score.
