Thanks for the update, ER. Inverness on a horrible run under new manager Hughes, though they scraped home in the prickly derby. Hereford sailing close to the drop (and more forum teams seem in danger of relegation than promotion or title-winning). Quite a lot of Premiership teams playing poorly atm so it's still unpredictable at the bottom.

It just gets worse and worse, Rob! The only comfort, if such a word can be used at a time like this, is that there's a few bunches of dumplin's down there with us still as we head for the split.
Danny the manager has now started talking about himself in the third person in interviews...always a worry I think...even he is trying to distance himself from his self!

Would you care to explain the Split, and the. Labyrinthine complexities of the SPL, JC?

Seems confusing to us down here.

Any chance of catching a play off game on Skye in May?

                      A few forum derbies today.

Crystal Palace 1 Chelsea 0. Bleus one eye on the champions league?,Palace deserved the win I hear,5 points clear of the relegation zone.
Southampton 4 Newcastle United 0. Convincing win,Saints now one place above Toon in 8th.
Inverness Caledonian Thistle 2 St Mirren 2. Honours even but a point not enough for either team,5th and 11th.
St Johnstone 1 Partick Thistle 1 .Last minute equaliser earned a point,10th.
Burnley 0 Leicester City 2. Now 6 points clear of title rivals.
Brighton 0 Middlesborough 2. Remain 9th,4 points off the top 6.
                      Sheffield Wednesday 1 Watford 4. Comprehensive defeat,down to 14th.
Crewe 1 Coventry City 2. Welcome 3 points stops the slide,up to 13th.
plastic dons 0 Wolves 1. Late winner,6 points clear at the top.
Bristol Rovers 1 Morecambe 0. Last minute winner, really needed this win, clear of the danger zone by 6 points.
Hartlepool United 0 Cheltenham Town 1. No chance of the play offs now.
Mansfield Town 1 Wimbledon 0. Conceded an early goal, down to 16th.
York City 0 Burton Albion 0. Not enough to stay in the play offs, very tight though with 3 teams on the same points fighting for the last spot.
Hereford United 0 Grimsby Town 1. Very worrying run, just 1 point above the drop zone.
Woking 2 Wrexham 1. Dropping down the league but hopefully enough points in the bag.
Chelmsford 0 Havant & Waterlooville 0. Probably a good point against a top 6 side.
Stockport County 0 Hednesford Town 1. Despite a dreadful run never seem to move in the league, still 13th.
Cambridge City 4 Truro City 1. Well beaten,17th.

Thanks for the excellent roundup, ER, top stuff.
I was at SMS to see Saints demolish the Toon today.

Sorry to say this BBM, but the toon were a poor outfit indeed. An on form Saints took them apart, and could have had had a cricket score. Beautiful football from our lot once again. We are fortunate to be able to see such great stuff so often.

                          I think this belongs here:

The veteran comic book footballer Roy Race, better known as Roy of the Rovers, has given his first ever interview in the British media to the BBC's Garry Richardson.
