The 4-1 victory against Dundee Utd ended with Utd a man short - possibly should have been someone else - anyway the ref missed it but Big Jim got a two match ban - and without our enforcer the Saints finished the year pretty poorly, Rob. As you can see from the picture it was a tasty tackle.
St Mirren captain Jim Goodwin is given a two-match ban for striking Dundee United's Stuart Armstrong with his forearm.

Wouldn't be surprised to see you making an appearance at 10.30 BBC 1 sometime !!
Sure you would be a lot more interesting than Shearer .

Yes a much better result for Wrexham than it looks. Halifax are the new kids in the Conference and they're having a very good first season. This result meant that Wrexham stayed as they were in mid-table but Halifax just dropped out of the play-off zone.

Any other results need talking up?

Yep, Rob...we're not only having problems on the field...our midfield playmaker's also been caught throwing haymakers in an inadvisable location. (not that it isn't always inadvisable to throw them)

Good wins for Southampton and Leicester.

An unusually convincing oerformance from the Foxes for good measure.

Poor old Palace. It started so well against Spurs, but if you're going to miss a penalty you might as well make a decent job of it.

Punch is a good player, and became a firm favourite at SMS last season, but I would never let him near a penalty. Not the deadliest finisher !!

Still, if you are going to miss a penalty, better now than in a 6 pointer in April. Palace will take it all the way, and they are playing some nice football at times.

The Buddies current fun and games remind me of the Hampshire Saints in the mid 1980's.......... There's no such thing as bad publicity they tell us......

He has done well for us and is popular.

(Just read a rumour that Pulis is after much-travelled ex-Saint, Peter Crouch.)
