fell into two deep sleeps last night watching Swansea lose a win and Spurs have a dire first half and missed all the goals in the second ....are Spurs really boring? can Swans thrive without Michu? Yes and No?

Yes, and Coventry went to AFC Wimbledon last night to get the cup started.

A typically odd cup game. Wimbledon's goalie was stuck in traffic so a young sub had his first game - an FA Cup game! He did great the first half, and Cov were not playing well. Then second half an unfortunate fumble, I really feel for the lad.

And again, typical of the cup, a well off-target free kick was kneed in by an Wimbledon defender.

So, two bizarre goals got Coventry through.

Poor Wimbledon goalie, I wonder how he slept last night. He must be reliving the incident, but instead punching the ball away! Really feel for him. But I expect his gaffer will get him though this and play him again very soon.

well it will mean one less viewer down here in Wiltshire.
Football's greed will kill it, if it isn't careful.

I know people have been saying that for a long time.

                Silly money.

I currently watch BT Sports free on our Skybox ch 426 (e.g. last night) as I'm on BT Broadband. This announcement is saying some matches will be free, so does that mean a) free on Freeview and b) I will still get to watch all the other games free on my current channel ?

I have my broadband with BT so was offered BT Sport (I think free, at least initially) but I'm not interested in watching football on the computer - in fact I rarely watch a match, sometimes Match of the Day but does it mean that the BBC will have to pay BT to obtain coverage of matches on that programme?
I don't have a Sky box or Freeview - I'm on FreeSat - so cannot comment on John's post above but I agree with ts that greed will kill the game for many.

The boy Suarez can certainly play a bit, absolute quality.
And the boy Lambert is really good at penalties.
