a point is one more than they had this morning. Although, against the monkey hangers at home.....

Have often asked about City /Rovers. 8 O can no doubt tell us more, AFAIK it is sort of south/West City, North/East Rovers. Plus posh folks (Mike obviously excepted) City, working fellows Rovers.
Not sure if there is anything more to it, other than you need to be a masochist to follow either team.
    Not really trophy central.

Another Saturday, another doin'! One point out of 18 so far - one win, I think, since we won the League Cup Only positive is that Hearts got beat too, but we've got to turn the corner soon - I sought solace once again in JRR but AS played Louis and Danny singing 'Saints go Marchin' in' (only hope it's not into the second division) - long season ahead - good win for the Southern Saints, ts - nice one!

Ooh, Aah, OUCH! Stop it! GOAL!
My great-grandma, on paternal side, came from long line of Bristolians, silversmiths, not your Victoria & Albert variety, sort of more your plodding on in Trenchard Street (which is now an NCP carpark). I do have an affection for Brizzle.

I don't have any real connections, nothin' fancy like silversmiths in the family, other than I used to live fairly near.
If there wasn't a Saints, it would be Rovers I would adopt, f'sure.

As an outsider would be good to see the city have one decent club, but that is as likely to happen as the Pope turning out in goal for Rangers I fear.

Every now and again someone invents something to get hot under collar....funnily enough they rarely seem to be in the same division....Rovers got it in the neck when they lost ground and started playing at Bath City ground....now at Bristol Rugby Club venue the Memorial ground just a stones throw from ff no doubt....bet parking is a horror....

....My initial support completely revolved around liking BLUE....not red....with gentrification of Brissle I have no idea ref w/c v m/c....I bet it had more to do with Aeroplane workers blue (North Bris) v Tobacco Workers red (South Bris)....as for Dockers who has ever been able to tell their alliegence other than to themselves....

letting the side down a bit, JC !! What's gone wrong? our lot been struggling for goals, but clean sheets mean points. 2 conceded in 5 games tells its own story.

sounds right. I think some rovers fans have a bit of a wc thing going on perhaps. As rivalries go, its doesn't seem nearly as unpleasant as Saints /poopey, for instance.

Considering the currently abysmal performances of both I reckon anything is now possible, team ... as long as Pope Frankie doesn't innocently cross himself in front of the Ibrox home fans like the Blessed Artur Boruc.

As I said earlier, we squandered this match, in what would have been a great home win.

At least Seagulls done us proud! (Or Tesco Shirts!) :)

Cheers again Rob! - brilliant service

Wrexham's result - a shocker I agree. We need to start putting good results together consistently and like you say, I thought we'd done that the last two weeks, but apparently not. I daresay the Manager's hairdryer touch was in full use after the game

Aldershot copped a 10-point forfeit for some financial problems I think so their table position does not necessarily reflect their team's skills.
