Sounds like you had a great day, hope the head is OK this morning.

always been a bit envious of Palace adopting " Glad all Over"...the best" Team entrance" song in English football IMO !!

Holloway is great entertainment value, whatever else one thinks of him !!

But remember what happens to Wotan and his team, gurnemanz - Götterdämmerung next year?

That occurred to me as well -especially in view of Palace's yo-yo history.

My mind said Hislop, the context said not.

Yo yo in terms of money too. Stockport went into administration in 2009 - look at their predicament now - Palace went into administration in 2010 - is £120m the money they are expected to gain?

Some part of the drunken rabble managed to stagger this far last night - I guess the neighbourhood will attract more now that Palace is in the Premier Division - especially the pubs in the Village.

It didn't go down too well with my next-doors when, on moving here, I mentioned Chelsea as my team of support. I wonder how they're getting on since moving to Huddersfield.

I imagine that life is sweet !!
And a proper football town to boot !!

Edit : Wouldn't worry about drunks in the PL, S_A...once you have bought a monumentally overpriced ticket for a game to be played at a hugely inconvenient time , there is little money left for booze....

A very sad day for Saints fans.
Ron Davies , my first football hero, has died.
An absolute legend among Saints fans, he had many great goal scoring days helping to keep us in Div 1, but this was surely his greatest day of all.
If like me you are a Saints fan in possession of a bus pass and a season ticket at a concessionary rate, the name Ron Davies will already conjure a nostalgic...

                              RIP Ron.
                              A true Saint.
