Palace scrape into playoffs thanks to the failure of others. Amazing fact is that with a record of D, L, L, L, D, L, D, D, D in their last nine matches they relegated Peterborough whose record over their last nine was D, W, W, D, D, W, D, L, W. In the end, with four points lead over the next best team, they could actually have lost or drawn today and still made the playoffs which would have allowed poor old Peterborough to escape.

Funny days at Salisbury.
till about ten years ago absolutely nothing ever happened there. Plodded along in some variant of the Southern league, to no discernible effect.
in recent years, an amazing , meteoric rise to the conference, way beyond their wildest dreams, consolidation, administration, expulsion to the BSS, and now teetering on the edge of a return to the big time. Crazy.
