Do the Glaziers deserve to have a team that's 15 points clear? What is the record margin of victory for a top flight English club?

Not sure,it doesn't appear to be on Sky or ESPN.

Not in the mood for the Saturday round up but the show must go on!

Aston Villa 3 QPR 2.Proper 6 pointer, looking grim for Rangers.
Southampton 3 Liverpool 1.With Reading and QPR both losing that looks an even better result.
Sheffield Wednesday 0 Cardiff City 2.Owls stiil far from safe.Where is Cloughie these days?
Derby County 2 Leicester City 1.Foxes in danger of slipping out of the play off places.
Coventry City 1 Hartlepool United 0.Forum derby,Cov still in with a chance off the play offs,Pool mini revival over.
Aldershot 0 Wimbledon 1.Dons well clear of danger at the moment.
Bristol Rovers 2 Rochdale 1.Rovers safe.
York City 0 Port Vale 2.Another forum derby,Vale still looking good for promotion,York in danger.Only 1 point between the bottom 6 teams, blimey!
Hamilton 0 Partick Thistle 2.Partick only 2 points off top spot with games in hand.
Hereford United 2 Barrow 1.Bulls safe in mid table.
Stockport County 1 Braintree Town 3.This game was lost before kick off with 4 changes made to the team that won in midweek. All the hard work that went into the Tuesday night win thrown away by poor team selection. Our best player so far this season came off the bench to score the goal but it was too late.Worrying times.Rant over.
Wrexham 0 Luton Town 0.Wrexham now 2nd,Mansfield top, they are on an incredible run.
Llanelli 4 Aberyswyth Town 3.Aber 3rd from bottom but well clear, not sure how relegation works in this league though.
Bath City 2 Chelmsford 2.Chelmsford 4th well behind the top 2.
        Truro City postponed.
St Mirren,Chelsea,Fulham,Newcastle and Crystal Palace tomorrow.

Thanks for the round up ER. Takes some doing when you have had a shocker like Stockport did today. At least the locals still seem to be turning up...

Some interesting looking scraps to come at the top of L1 and the bottom of L2 especially.

Lets hope Newcastle do the decent thing tomorrow.........

And all the very best to St Mirren for their big day tomorrow.

          BBC1 scotland 3.00 PM I think.

Edit: Quick match report.FINALLY broke my season's duck as I was at SMS today.
One of the best matches I have seen for a very long time. Our attacking play was as good as we have played all season...really beautiful football. Liverpool also played some excellent stuff, especially their quicksilver strike force. First time I have seen Suarez live. He must be hell to have to mark. Game in the balance until our third goal, but just terrific stuff from beginning to end.

Our Polish keeper Boruc is looking like a brilliant piece of recruitment.

He was indeed and he has lost a bit of weight! Also detected a distinct Glaswegian 'burr' to his Polish accent when he was interviewed on TV the other day.

Something of a 'character' too. He was known as The Holy Goalie by Celtic fans by ostentatiously making the Sign of the Cross in front of thousands of irate Rangers fans.

One might describe that as 'brave' or 'foolish' depending on one's point of view, (to me it was the latter) but in world football terms this gesture would only be deemed unacceptable by one half of Glasgow.

Suarez is brilliant and he gives 100% into the bargain, not always the case with brilliant players. He reminds me of a vastly superior Scott MacDonald!

What a fantastic game at Hampden, and a wonderful triumph for the Buddies/Scottish Saints.

Congratulations to JC, hope you had a wonderful day out, its been a long wait , and you can see how much it meant to the club.

Didn't see the game but well done to Saints and congrats to John! The Buddies play some of the best football in the SPL so they thoroughly deserve their success.

Did see the Dundee derby earlier. A rich piece of Colemanballs from the co-commentator on ESPN ... 'The huge army of travelling Dundee fans have come in great numbers to cheer on the visitors ... '

Dens Park, the home of Dundee FC, is roughly 200 yards from Tannadice Park, Dundee United's ground, the venue for today's game.

Despite the celebratory feel with St Mirren winning the cup and Frank reaching 200 goals, some of our other teams didn't fare so well.

                            St Mirren 3 Hearts 2.Brilliant
Spurs 0 Fulham 1.Safe in mid table.
Chelsea 2 West Ham United 0.200 up for Frank Lampard,Blues 3rd.
Wigan 2 Newcastle United 1.Toon in danger of being dragged in to the relegation scrap.
Brighton 3 Crystal Palace 0.Not good, especially against their bitter rivals.

Thanks Rob and everyone for the kind words. First time we've won the League Cup, ever. It was great down in the pubs of Glasgow with leprechaun hats everywhere, and fans mingling away - good banter going on in the bars and on the train to the stadium. Even in my advancing years I found it really exciting to arrive at Hampden at a big final supporting the Saints.
Hearts settled a lot more quickly and Saints were lucky not to be more than one down before they started to get into their groove about 25 minutes in - Goncalves arrived in Paisley a couple of days before the semi against Celtic and has been a real talisman so it was great when he got the equaliser. Folk were still standing in queues for Bovril when Stevie Thompson grabbed the second and Newton, who arrived from Newcastle and who seemed to create havoc every time he got the ball, scored a crackin' third - my brother said, 'They've gone three-one up too early!' - they were coasting and then thought they could kill the game and instead let Hearts back in - it was a tough last ten minutes, but totally delightful to get a bit of silverware for the Board display cabinet. It was a great cup final and Hearts put a lot in too.
