Whatever the credibility of ref's decision....shouldn't have capitulated so quickly as they did....Ferdinand spreading fear and lack of focus away from job in hand....Raphael for all the good things he did, took some odd positions after the sending off (always very slow to get back)....Wellbeck great game....odd Marhino comments after....lucky Modric did not come on earlier,gave them the cohesion they lack due to Wellbeck snuffing out of Alonso....

I admit I was astonished by UEFA's absurd reaction to Man U's non-participation in the obligatory post-match chat. Sir Alex was wise not to take part and would been asked to say what he thought, even though it was obvious to all and telling the truth as he saw it would only have landed him in further trouble.

These odd interpretations of rules (though I am still unsure credibility....at time thought yellow card, all the angles and slow motion say otherwise....+this 'brutality' clause Euro refs seem to be hot on)....

But....during BOTH Celtic games the centre halfs were wrestling the Celtic strikers to the ground frequently ,and were not pulled up....yet any agression by Celtic in box was sanctioned....BIZARRE....
