Actually, I would rather Manchester City were ahead of the boring United. They've been the underdogs for too long. I used to watch both Manchester clubs in my youth, on weekends when Stockport were playing away. (Well it did only cost 4/- to stand on the terraces)

Never thought of it that way as the Owls are in that group - ts great win for you - it put a smile on my face after us not getting all three against Derby thanks to an ex-Blade.

this was a fun read , written around 40 years ago, and saw how footy would go. 4 teams IIRC, refs bent etc etc. Anybody read it?
Would never have dreamt of supporting a team other than my home town, (or if i had some other strong connection , such as Supporting your father's team for instance, not an option for me as mine is p******th) !)
