Still we won, which was the main thing. !!I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

er i was delighted that les Bleus secured a draw, having missed all the rerun highlights i assume they were playing well above themselves! .... but it is an old pals act in W Lunnun innit ... bit more gate money for Brentford who may well not surprise ua at the Bridge! ... could never get past Hammersmith and the riverside pubs when i was a lad ...
watched the Oldham game and well played them is all i can say ... bet Brendan was looking at that centre forward wondering who he reminded him of ..... and Big Sam wondering when he was going to play like M Smith ...
and yep the biggest disappointment was the Seagulls despite 2-3 it would be cool to see Mr Poyet's team progress in the Cup ...According to the best estimates of astronomers there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe.

Playing weakened sides and losing matches - a point which seems to be missed by pundits, managers and crowds is that making 6 or 7 changes to a side must mean that several players are actually thrown together on a pitch having not played together in a competitive match expected to outperform opposition who maybe have lesser technical ability but who perform as a team raising their game to try to win, often successfully. It's all very well to say the players are being given a chance to be selected for the top squad and yes they may be pampered and overpaid but are they being given the right training and experience and a level playing field for the job? Bradford City, MK Dons and Luton have worked hard to beat superior oppositition but have done so by team effort and players knowing each other's game.
