That Cisse goal will be the goal of the season, as far as I am concerned! I don't know why people say it was afluke? Itwasn't. It's Cisse piure talent that scored that goal!

Funny, I had slightly anticipated that you might well hold that particular point of view, BBM ...

You are, of course, quite correct. Every goal from that distance and position requires an element of 'fair wind' no matter how perfect the shot as much depends on the bounce of the ball and goalkeeper reaction. However, Cisse's shot was as perfect and intentional as any great goal I've seen, with the total surprise element and the curve on the ball being the impressively decisive factors.

The goal that Liverpool's Suarez recently scored was another case in point ... there was no curve here, just perfect length and execution, not to mention initial awareness of the goalkeeper's position (which I now have!) ... it was obviously no 'fluke' to many close-up TV observers like myself, but I'm sure there will be those who claim it was!

They did exceptionally well, and for once it appears that a mid season manager change did the biz.
Personally, i put i down to the quality grounding that Antonio had at St Marys two years ago, but hey ........Happy days for the Owls.Pleased for DJ too. He is a good manager.

( say it quietly, but Ihave to say I feel a bit sorry for Danny Wilson, always seems to be one of the good guys too).

Lets hope Huddersfield can go one better this year !

The train of hit woodwork, bizarre misses, amazing decisions that have dogged Liverpool this season goes on - this time yet another classic this afternoon to increase the clamour for proper replay / goal line technology. UK football absolutely MUST adopt such technology - cricket, rugby, tennis all use it as a matter of course. But our great national game is continually bedevilled by appalling situations that well-tried technology might well resolve,

OK something needed. But instead of infra-red beams etc., a TV monitor showing the 4th assistant what WE can see should sufficient for tele-recorded games.

Oh and today, all the ball did not cross all the line! Well done assistant ref who was given dreadful vocal onslaught by Suarez who rightly got booked and then he missed chances

Liverpool deserve nothing more from this season. Bad-mannered lot, and a disrespectful manager; I don't want to see Kenny on TV again.
