don't knock a back six that kept a clean sheet against Barcelona .... they average 3 goals a game chums .... Cole played a blinder i thought; Messi did not lose the ball so much as Lampard took it great pass to Ramires who also played a blinder and he passed to DD who scored with a rather weak looking shot but it was still an excellent goal ..

Roberto has resurrected the Chelsea of yore .... the second leg remains a most formidable challenge, but as a supporter i owe RdM a glass of bubbly!

Roberto has done more than that - a refreshing change to see a Chelsea manager who has learned his trade in the league and conveyed his love of the game, trusts his experienced, talented players to get on and do the job. I think he has also got more people away from Stamford Bridge to feel more favourable towards towards Chelsea, if oly for now!

A footballers' manager methinks with di Matteo. Gone through the ranks and look where he is now.chelsea done well last night, apart from Drogba's antics!

Yes, very sad days for our old adversaries from our many years together in the top flight. I shall miss my trips to Cov......hopefully you can bounce back soon, (preferably at pompeys expense !)

As for th CL, I have a personal interest in Barca, but the tie is wonderfully set up.

The Owls need a favour from MK.......but that could happen.

I am not tempting fate by saying anything about our lot........

any other big games for the board teams ?

We got Stoke at home today. I hope Spurs loose and we win and Chelsea either losses are draws!¬

Spoken like a true football message Boarder.
Well good luck....Don't know what it was that Pards did wrong at our place, and he clearly is a bit of a funny one, but he sure can pick a player, and his teams are usually entertaining .

Wrexham stuffed up magisterially last evening losing 2-0 to Mansfield at home. Mansfield are third in the table & thus one of Wrexham's opponents in the play-offs which does not bode well. Manager Morrell sounded very gloomy in the post-match analysis

Just seen Mansfield's goalie goal - what's the chances of that then?
