Not so clear cut from this angle.

big win for the Saints last night. Football as it used to be. Terraces, lousy view of the game, non existent facilities, and lots of fun !!

Nice afternoon out in Peterborough......what a nice city centre, and imposing Cathedral.

Maybe not quite time for the Fat Lady in Southampton, but Andy Williams 1965 hit is good for an airing! For us, got tokeepour glasses half full but it increasingly looks like the dreaded playoffs!

          OWLS END OF SEASON BLUES

It’s never easy being an Owl at this end of the season,
The agonies they put you through, there is no rhyme nor reason.
If not seeking safety at the bottom of the table
They’ll try for automatic even though they’re not quite able

There’s that cutting edge side playing t’other side o’t’ city
Two or three points ahead of us – more’s the pity
So with ninety points or so there’ll be no emotional day-offs
Preparing to play the form-horse that just crept into the play-offs

We look for positive results with hearts and voices trembly
Hoping for enough goals for that final trip to Wembley
Spurring on our lads in blue and white for a job well done
And not another season in the dark depths of League One.

Job almost done for the Saints.
Been to London Road many times, proper old fashioned ground but a pig of a place to get to by car from the North West.
              The Cathedral is very impressive!

A fascinating game to watch, great effort by Cech and the Chelsea defence but Drogba was such a pain in the neck with his constant falling over (even at that dangerous Barca free kick near the end) though I suppose his goal lets him off the hook. I can't see the Blues keeping Barca out at the Noucamp though, so they will have to score to go through.

Yes superb effort. The Chelsea defence were a rock although they rode their luck at times.
It will be interesting to see how they approach the 2nd leg tactically.
