Oh and today, all the ball did not cross all the line! Well done assistant ref who was given dreadful vocal onslaught by Suarez who rightly got booked and then he missed chances

Liverpool deserve nothing more from this season. Bad-mannered lot, and a disrespectful manager; I don't want to see Kenny on TV again.
I'm not much of a football fan, but: Hillsborough and after: Kenny is a great man. Respect that. And there is nothing bad-mannered about standing by your players through contentious court cases - which weren't even heard in a proper court.

As for Suarez in the final - this isn't old Corinthians, there's a lot a stake. Is the Premiership a gentleman's club? Liverpool gathered armfuls of silverware when it was still possible to plan, with tradition and cunning, your way to success; Chelsea merely bought theirs.

But as I say, despite living most of my life here, I know little about football. Except that money appears to have ruined competition, and I enjoy reading about it far more than watching it. (Especially today...)

Kenny is indeed a great man - and shame too that few people today remember what an amazing player he was. One of the best ever. I respect the way they stood by Suarez, and even as a Mun Utd supporter, I think Evra's behaviour in the whole affair was abysmal.

Anyway, hopefully Newcastle will do the business on City tomorrow!

Oh he was a great footballer but I'm not impressed by his TV behaviour as a man.

Let's hear what Kenny has to say about the 100's of Liverpool fans booing the National Anthem. Apparently on 5 Live, when asked to phone in about it, Liverpool fans came up with various reasons: 5.15 start, Chelsea hospitality snobs, Hillsborough insults, oh and one apparently said the Royal family control the BBC......

bugger Kenny D Gary Neville has highlighted a far more interesting poser in raising Andy Carroll as a contender for inclusion in the in the Engerland squad for the Euros ...and given he can perform as he did at Wembley i would be inclined to agree

Yes, Carroll did well and you wonder how much of his struggle at Liverpool has been down to that poor midfield. Gerrard was awful yesterday. A Rooney/Carroll partnership up front would be interesting in the Euros (though Carroll should really have put that header away and not forced the linesman to make a decision about whether it had crossed the line).

He didn't only stand by Suárez during the 'improper' court case (football clubs shouldn't expect to have it both ways - they agree to the jurisdiction of their governing bodies) - he continued doggedly to refuse to accept the tribunal's ruling, in the face of plenty of evidence. And he continued to treat Suárez as some sort of proxy political prisoner

I agree that after Hillsborough and for many years his conduct was superb; it's a pity in this instance and on other occasions this season he's come across as a bit of a prat.
