....Thanks Rob Rovers find winning ways again....

....Neigh neigh not Namar never never perish the thought....he'd be snapped in half by Shawcross and like....half the games would be taken up with him rolling around....not Messi or Suarez either....BUT not Jesse or Anthony either....United bench almost as nondescript as Liverpool.... Big up to Valencia he gets better and better (must be first on team sheet after De Gea)....

Four wins on the trot and still only just above the relegation zone.
      Palace will be fine..

..and Benteke rubbing his hands with Wednesday night looming.....perhaps one day we'll stop him from scoring against us.

Justice done at SMS yesterday, as Bompey failed to punish us for another shocking penalty decision.

All fun and games in Scotland yesterday JC. you certainly kept AUFC honest ...the Buddies really in with a chance now. And what was going on with the Perth Saints ?

Its a strange, rather one sided rivalry that we have with Boscombe.

They really don't have any other proper rivals, so inevitably they particularly want to put one over on us. For us, its a bit odd. A lot of Saints used to have them as a pet second team, and even now, I think a lot of us are happy to see them doing amazingly well. Although they can stop now, actually, and get a bit worse.
The games for us though are more like games against Brighton or Reading. A bit of regional edge that makes it much more than a normal game , but nothing like the poisonous all out war that is the Saints -pompey derby.

Talking of which, a very poor effort by the Monkey Hangers yesterday, I'm sorry to say. Looks like the boys from nottarf krap will soon reclaim their rightful place in League 1.

I read EUFC earlier, ts, and thought there was another element of Breakfast that I hadn't got to grips with. I see it's the Honest Men you're referring to. Re the Perth Saints, no film of the incident available. Seems all the cameras were all ball watching. The half time whistle went and they all shot off for the bovvy instead of stickin' around for the bovver. So disappointing to have missed a good punch-up.
And thanks for the rundown of the Bompey relationship, ts...enjoyed the clarification very much!

Thanks for the weekend round ups, ER.

Hope John Wright was at Wembley to enjoy the day. Something to savour in the midst of pretty bad times for the Sky Blues.
Are they going to abandon the dreadful experimenting with the trophy format next season?

Thanks ER, great round up. You're a busy chap with the results service right now.

Entertaining game at SMS tonight, with both teams playing their part.
Palace caught Saints on a night when our passing game was top notch, and with Tadic at his imperious best. He can open any defence up when he is in the mood, and he was in the mood tonight. He's a joy to watch, and it must be misery to have to defend against him when he is on song.
