Leicester were actually unlucky - first goal messy and soft, second goal a lucky deflection and third goal was self inflicted (defensive nonsense)

Tottenham were imperious (this is a football term akin to majestic)

    Arsenal were lucky.

    I hate Chelsea.

    West Ham are bonkers.

Football is man’s greatest invention that even God could not create.

The Big Match is at 16.00

(out of respect, I have not mentioned Southampton)

Virgil van Dijk was in a class of his own on the park...he could have swept stuff up all day and Burnley spent time trying to draw him out of position, but he was directing the defence...and he can fair cover the ground quickly. If it hadn't been for the mighty dodgy free kick Burnley would never have got by him. But the whole thing seemed set up for Joey Barton...what an entry! Burnley fans love him. Rangers' fans up here must be ragin' after his rather unsuccessful sojourn north! I thought Burnley just deserved it.

No progress but it could have been worse...at least we didn't lose any more ground...need wins!!!!
      Thanks for the round-up, Rob!
thanks for the report, JC, and ER for the round up.

Saints problems aren't hard to identify, lack of goals has been the problem all season.

Hope you enjoyed your day out, JC.

anton - I see the Hangers have sacked Hignett. Dave Jones in the frame - does not come recommended unless he is accompanied by a good no 2. At the Owls towards the end of his tenure he didn't have a clue, largely because he lost the dressing room, blamed everyone but himself and totally bypassed players who Gray subequently brought back into the reckoning and developed the basis of our current team culture.

Don't think Edge rates Jonesy either.

Sounds a better choice than some of the losers who may be in the frame, but Richie Humphreys might be worth a shout!

Don't wish to depress you, anton but we had him...afraid he didn't have the fans jumping for joy during his tenure...he left us sitting at the foot of the table...where we remain.

Fairly dire game at SMS by all accounts but well done Sainty.
