    Big day today.
I imagine Cloughie is nervously sipping a lightly poached cup of tea......

Anyway, good luck, to the Owls, although I can't say I have really forgiven them for a seemingly endless winless run we had against them in the 70's and 80's.
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

Yes indeed... good luck to you Owls, Cloughie. (It was an answer on Pointless yesterday...Owls not Cloughie, that is...good omen?). I personally have forgiven the Hooters for the 5-0 thrashing pre-season just, about.

Bad luck Cloughie. Tough to take, a playoff defeat.
But keep the team together, and another good season beckons.

Fans of the "other" Madrid team won't be looking forward to going to work on Monday, either.

Commiserations Cloughie, we were all wanting the Owls to do it.

Alas the difference was between us and an ex-Prem side with recent Wembley appearances, cushioned by parachute payments, and we did only lose by one spectacular goal. Our support was immense and we sold our allocation and could have taken more of the East Yorks allocation. We've had a great season and are only 46 matches away from the Prem!

Great support but Owls were second best on the day. I'm pleased for Hull but traitor Bruce won't be well received at Palace next season.

The Real Dons are now in the same division as the Plastic Dons.

This is as good as Leicester winning the Premiership.

The Real Dons have now won six promotions since they first took to the field in the Combined Counties League in the ninth tier of English football in 2002.

Tactfully mentioning Hull City, it's great to know there's one club that doesn't sack its manager every time the team goes through a bad patch.

Many thanks, Rob for your Saturday solace through the season - it is much appreciated. Well done to all the winners and commiserations to the also rans of the round ball game crew. I suppose it's cricket and tennis for us up here for the next month or two while the rest of you go swanning around in Europe.
