As the taxi driver & I agreed this evening -
"Now there are TWO reasons to hate Man Utd..." (**)
Oh, I used to enjoy Jose... whilst the egocentrism seemed almost a heaven-sent blessing to the man himself, and the self-belief was leavened by wit and charm and great soundbites. But what happened last season? His inability to just say sorry to his physios, his tendency toward selfpity in his complaints and criticisms of his own players....I went off him quickly - BIG time.
Has anyone yet worked out how he managed to lose the dressingroom at Chelsea so completely?
I think of all that's going on at the other end of the East Lancs Road and feel.... very, very tired.
Klopp and Mourinho are as two sides of the same zealous, self-promoting footie-philosophising coin: but where Jurgen seems at times almost angelic, huggably beneficent and forgiving, Jose is the Satanic One. You can't imagine Mourinho feeling sorry for a team he's just beaten 6-0, as Klopp expressed about his victory over poor, lame Aston Villa....
On Mourinho, Barney Ronay put it brilliantly today "Darth Vader has entered the Death Star..... A listing giant has hitched itself to another star vehicle in need of uplift..."
As he says, it all promises to be "horribly watchable..."

It appears to me that there are large numbers of players in the Prem that are letting down their fans and their managers. Not a new phenomenon but I think it's been more evident this season. Also rewards for failure and cost of the manager go round appear to be ever growing.

Anyway, it'll be great fun to have the opportunity to beat united AND JM together.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

Especially Arsenal - hats of to them and particularly Wenger (credit where credit’s due).
