I was there 26 years ago and will be there on Saturday. Our turn this time, surely. We saved Fergie's skin by letting Sparky Hughes score with seven minutes to go last time. The only consolation of saving VG by losing again this time would be to annoy those Man U fans who don't want him to stay.

Fans who want him to lose just so he'll be sacked are no friends of the club.

I wouldn't have thought that United really have the luxury of wanting to lose cup finals right now.
              Funny old world/ game.

                  Good question.
We used to have a great song about him when he was at poorsmouth, but he joined us and ruined it all...
Anyway, mixed feelings tomorrow, heart wants Palace to win, ( and Punch to score the winner), head says united, as that gets us straight into the group stages of the Europa league.
Hope you have a great day Gurney, and that its a really good game.

Never mind the grossly over-rated English Premiership ... well done to Scottish Premiership Celtic for appointing Brendan Rodgers, a lifelong fan.

No guarantee of success, of course, but such an appointment will certainly cheer the currently-suffering Parkhead faithful.

Of course, I remain completely neutral in the matter of which team I support!

The Special One is only special when he takes over a highly successful club. Perhaps not really that special?

Not altogether fair. It began with a Champions League victory for Porto remember. And Inter Milan were not particularly pulling up any trees when he took over there. However, everything has its cycle and I do wonder if Jose's time is past. He seemed like a deer stuck in the headlights last December and as Guus showed, it did not take much to at least stabilise the ship at Chelsea. And having LVG still there as director of football sounds a recipe for disaster. Remember Avram Grant with Mourinho ? Will they try to shoehorn Ryan Giggs into the set up too ?

I think it's rather sad that there will be no open top bus parade if United win the cup.

Man Utd could clinch their first trophy in three years at Wembley on Saturday but the FA Cup will not be paraded around Manchester city centre.

Cracking Scottish Final today. I thought Hibs deserved to win with some enterprising play. ( the Rangers second goal is well worth catching too.)

I forgot there are other United supporters in here - I thought I could get away with it

Of course the Bald Eagle is still alive!

Ref didn’t play the advantage - can’t believe it. Against the run of play, Palace should be 1-0 up. Diabolical refereeing.
