Like most footy fans, I have been thinking about this for a while, and I really do think this is probably the greatest sporting achievement, certainly in team sport, in my lifetime.( Although Cloughie's lifetime achievements were very special too.)

As Beefy! says , a fairy tale, and hopefully the start of a new era of success being more widely spread around.
....and let's hope for at least one more forum fairytale before the end of May!

To think how forlorn I felt during the winter 2014-15 with Leicester anchored at the bottom and absolutely nothing going right.

I wonder what Nigel Pearson must be thinking right now.

Wonderful, Alison. I think it's safe to say that we all feel a big bit of your joy at what your team won tonight. So happy for Ranieri. As Lineker said tonight he has done it without mind games or complaining but seems to have enjoyed himself throughout. An inspiration to all! I'm sure Saturday will be magic at the Kingpower. Pizza all round!!!

                Otherwise it's a forum two-legged standoff.

TV & Radio 24-hr-gone-global, Newsnight-underdog-pyschology-specials, 8-page supplement in the Guardian today (albeit with some fascinating round-the-world reports - are Leicester City the new Man Utd.? Careful what you wish for etc...)

I think I'm suffering from the Leicester-City-Premiership variant of compassion fatigue...

Anyone else watch Bayern - Atletico last night? FRANTIC stuff... Bayern, needing the 3rd, were stunned to see the ref awarding Atletico an 85th-minute penalty for a foul clearly a YARD outside the box. But Torres' kick was so poor (perfectly soft, midheight for Neuer) you wondered if he was just too ashamed to score it. Not with Simeone around of course - and Torres' distressed expression afterward said otherwise...(but maybe a sense of fairness, an old-world sportsman's conscience, lurked somewhere in Fernando's subconscious as he approached the spot...)

I hope ADU-SkyBlue can go A Rebours and give us all a thrill in the Bernabeu tonight...

Everest and a half I'd say and a distance to travel. These hardworking part-timers are a stark contrast to the pampered mercenaries of the Prem!

Yes, all I was hoping was that the current players of the Blue-Citadel might just play for themselves & give the neutral euro-lover a bit of drama... I love to see Aguero doing what he does despite disliking the superclub setup as much as anyone. But no - Kun managed to put it on the roof of the net in the 88th minute, yet the response seemed oddly muted, no last-minute assaults. Just a strange lack of interest, Corporate torpor all-round. Real weren't much better, but at least they showed how much their tradition still means...

I don't think it will be quite so uninvolving at Anfield tonight...

One can never be neutral when this team are involved.
Wonder if they'll finish top 4 (tee hee).
                            Good luck Liverpool.

Terrific result - Sturridge is a great player - when can stay fit. Klopp looks a great fit at Liverpool. Hope they don't put in a fawlty performance in Basel later in the month.
