another great win for Leicester.
Just for once, the top of the PL is really interesting. Spuds still chalking up the wins.
And the Saints did the foxes a big favour too.
My lads were both at the Emirates tonight, so should be pretty happy with their nights work.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

...and I would like to suggest that Forster is already making a difference to the southern Saints, ts. Top stopper...and the other two guys you got from your northern nursery club are no mugs either, I would suggest.

Big win for Foxes.
Commentator-Praise was heaped on that lovely Barcelona-style Foxes' move but did it produce anything...? Relevant to....
So frustrating for Liverpool fans week in week out, fine passing & movement but poor finishing. Brittle, uncertain defence. But - imagine if a fit Sturridge had played the first half!..
Benteke can't fit in, Firmino fades in and out and yes, Klopp's working for the longer term, but I hope he has a goalscoring Plan B for the League Cup Final. Or the other cups, which we still have to get excited about! Put the youngsters back in for the Hammers, they showed great passing and movement and.... hmm, yes....
Leicester's next two games really could be definitive. Through those, their main worries are key injuries to the front two, or Kante - does Ranieri have the squad depth? And as always, that final run-in of the last 5 or 6 games. If they're in it with City and Arsenal, it will be ALL about pressure - who copes with the 1-0s the 1-1s, who stays cool & focussed, who just edges it the right way... Leicester remind me of Liverpool in 2014. Stunning fast attack, but we couldn't cope with that last few weeks, those last few games. I so hope Ranieri is a wiser fox than Brendan Rogers was then.
Just a slip or two away, we blew up while City plodded through to the title, game by dull game...as the Liverpool of the 70s and 80s often did... Claudio, Nota Bene...Last edited by jayne lee wilson; 03-02-16, 02:49.

Not a bad day for a few of the Board teams today. Believe it or not the Buddies are now 4 points off the play-offs.
Thanks Rob.

sounds like things are turning round for the Buddies.play offs would be great.
Thanks for the round up ER.
I was at a very wet and windy SMS for a nail biter. Sending off looked pretty harsh, but we defended exceptionally well, and won the game with a really nice goal.
A generally very annoying performance from Mark Clattenberg, one of those refs Saints fans dread getting.
game was a good adrenalin level raiser though.
and what a season it is in the PL.
Leicester now the bookies favourites, and most of the country willing them on. I hope Alison has her tickets booked up for a few visits.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

Unhappy day at Anfield (again...)..
2-0 up after 69 minutes, some fans staged a (questionable) 77th-minute ticket-price-protest walkout.... score finishes 2-2. Klopp in hospital with appendicitis, Lovren and Allen injured (again...)...
Apart from all that, things are looking, er....interesting. As in "teamsheet for Tuesday should be interesting..."
This night owl dragged herself out of bed for coffee & croissants & Leicester away to.... The Citizens (that one OK, Edge...?). How steely cool the Foxes looked. Just one 87th-minute wobble at 3-1, and even Aguero picked the wrong shot (I like Michael Owen's use of the word "recycle" for what strikers pushed wide should do instead of attempting to score from impossible angles).
Watching Vardy's style or gait - flatfooted whippet with a coathanger in his shoulders - I was reminded of - who was that? Finally I got it - anyone recall Derek Randall, cricketer for Notts and England?
But the SkyBlues were in their too-familiar listless mode, the one which helped Liverpool to that 4-1 victory at the Etihad and gave us fond illusions of "doing a Leicester"....
Oh, happy days....
Touched by some of the home fans holding a banner with Pellegrini on it which read "This Charming Man"....all say ahhhh...
But Pellegrini, near the end, wore the look of Peter O'Toole as King Priam, grimacing as Troy burns....Last edited by jayne lee wilson; 06-02-16, 22:30.
