Hot off the press -
Hamilton Academical 1 St Mirren 0. Conceded a late goal, end of a dismal season, hopefully Buddies can bounce straight back
Celtic 5 Inverness Caledonian Thistle 0. Fell apart in the last 20 minutes but a good campaign on the whole, and still the cup final to come next week.
Chelsea 3 Sunderland 1.Comfortable win,let the party begin.
Crystal Palace 1 Swansea City 0. Second half goal sealed the win and a magnificent top 10 finish.
Hull City 0 Manchester United 0. Soaked up all the pressure from the team fighting for survival and suffered a red card,CL football achieved which was the aim.
Leicester City 5 QPR 1. Final day storming win is the icing on the survival cake
man city 2 Southampton 0. Highest premiership finish 7th,just need Arsenal to win the cup to hand Saints a Europa League spot.
Newcastle United 2 West Ham United 0. Late Guttierez goal and Hull's draw made sure Toon avoided the drop ,couldn't have
been a more appropriate scorer on survival Sunday.
Stoke City 6 Liverpool 1. Not sure what to make of this,5-0 down at half time,at least SG signed off with a goalLast edited by EdgeleyRob; 24-05-15, 21:04.

Inverness are in the Scottish cup final and Southampton may end up playing European football next season, depending on the result of the FA cup final.
Hope you had a good holiday ER. Thanks for your fabulous roundups, the modern day football pink. very much appreciated.
I'm off for a few days to hear some Mahler in Paris. Apparently there are tourist attractions there too !!I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

AT LAST!!!
SURELY THE BEST NEWS OF THE SEASON...
http://edition.cnn.com/2015/05/27/fo...ice-department.
I was sorry when nothing came of some earlier English suggestions about UEFA boycotting Russia '18 or Qatar '22. SURELY they can't continue their preparations now...
