Great round up ER . Bit of a shocker for your boys.
i was at SMS for an entertaining if somewhat low quality affair. Poor old Fraser didnt look good.

Gerrard sent off for stamping on Mata's ankle (was it Herrera's? Doesn't matter, he's off).
2-0 now. Another goal from Mata. This time a scissor-kick!!!
1-2 Liverpool have pulled one back, who are they trying to kid?
Mignolet saves Rooney's penalty. Who does he think he is?Last edited by Beef Oven!; 22-03-15, 15:22.

"Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal says he has now found a position for Juan Mata in his team, and describes the Spaniard's brace in the 2-1 win at Liverpool as "marvellous"."................LvG obviously blind until today.....no confidence in LvG as a long term choice....Listened to this interview http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32010643 simultaneously with Boulez Here and Now >>>I know which one seemed to had the most to give........bong ching

Well, what an utter disaster...
Carrying on from where we left off against Swansea, our ineptitude made United look even better than they were... began to fight back, then Lallana missed a crucial chance.
So on comes Captain Fantastic for his last game against United...talk about a rush of blood.. I thought of Zidane's headbutt in the last seconds of the 2006 World Cup final, or Gascoigne destroying his own leg (and much more..) at Wembley in 1991. Stevie G has - thrilled us, saved us, won so much for us over and over, but....
Despite a brave 10-man fightback, we deserved no more than we got. Yes, Jones should have gone for his tackle - no, his assault on Henderson, but then Skrtel stamped on De Gea in the last seconds...oh, and Rooney missed a penalty in the 93rd minute, and Di Maria seemed to think he was in a Rugby line-out....
Quite a game, then. I'm just as worried by our form as dismayed at the result itself. The highlight was Juan Mata's brilliant second goal of course - yet even there, Moreno had failed to track him into the area...
Top 4 pulling away. Even Blackburn in the Cup replay looks a tough call playing like this. Oh well, there's El Clasico to cheer me up tonight ..With a curry and a LOT of Barbera d'Asti...(alright then, the whole bloody bottle).... Come on Messi and Ronaldo - you'd better be good!Last edited by jayne lee wilson; 22-03-15, 16:54.
