Ah welcome back old Cloughie! Never realised I'd miss you so much. You ok?
I never knew who followed Truro!
Thanks for the warm welcome - yes I'm fine - been busy with a few things, looked in from time to time but just haven't engaged with the boards this year. Foxes not in Championship yet - just need a couple of wins!
I don't really have a second team, although in the dark days of near liquidation it was obvious to me that Bristol Rovers would be the only other (then) league team I could support.
My team in the north is Huddersfield, due to lots of family connections, and a soft spot also for Bradford City as they were my Grandfathers team.
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.
Full premiership midweek action to look forward to.
Forum derby at SMS.
Also Palace v Saints on Tuesday. We were depressingly awful in the home match on Boxing Day - we were there. It turned out to be Neil Warnock's swansong. Maybe they can make sweet amends under Pardew.
I think I am gradually getting back into the swing of things around football. It's taken a long time for me to get over the disastrous World Cup by England, but hey ho. I am trying my best to move on.

Blissfully unaware of the "League Cup action" (or whatever it's called these days) over the weekend .. but workmates tell me that The Blues won it yesterday. Hurrah!

I don't understand why when it comes to our turn, we only score one goal

Liverpool are on a roll.
You after my job Beefster ?
Quite a few of our teams didn't play today.
In the cup,Liverpool v Blackburn is tomorrow and Manchester United Association Football Club v Arsenal is on Monday
Blackpool 0 Sheffield Wednesday 1. Winner came early in the 2nd half,up to 10th but play off chances are remote. Coventry City 2 Port Vale 3. Took an early lead, conceded the 3rd within 6 minutes of getting back to 2-2,in danger just above the bottom 4. Wimbledon 2 York City Last minute winner after being peggedback,6 points away from the play offs. Hartlepool United 0 Burton Albion 1. Last minute winner for the top of the league side, now 8 points from safety,on the up side this result was part of my son's winning acca, sorry Anton,he doesn't understand forum loyalty.
Clyde 1 East Stirlingshire 1. Took the lead after 10 minutes, couldn't hold on but the point moves ES up to 7th. Wrexham 1 Chester 0. The winner came on 7 minutes in thederby, mid table. Bristol Rovers 1 Eastleigh 2. Surprising scoreline but remaintop due to Barnet's defeat,Grimsby and Macc look threatening now. Chelmsford 1 Basingstoke Town 1. Looked set for 3 points until conceding a last minute penalty,8 points away from the play offs. Stockport County 1 Solihull Moors 0. Scored the goal midway through the 2nd half,I wasn't at the game but hear it was more comfortable than the scoreline suggests, just 4 points away from the play offs. Truro City 2 Biggleswade Town 1. Great fightback after going 0-1 down on 60 minutes, just 5 points off top spot although the teams above have games in hand.
Spare a thought for JC,St Mirren didn't play but ended the day bottom of the league due to Motherwell picking up a point and Ross County's 4th consecutive win !!!
