Yeah, thanks Edgey. Must be grateful for late goals at Man C and QPR. Well done Sainty.

And a belter at Stockport C.

Important away win for Palace against relegation rivals. Goalie, Speroni, was our man of the match which tells a story - dog eat dog down there, or eagle eat fox.

                Brilliant !!!

Thanks for the round up ER, fantastic work as ever.

Sounds like another entertaining afternoon at Edgeley Park, at last things seem to be on th up for the long suffering County fans.
great win for Palace, sure they have more than enough for them to hava a comfortable finish.
Leicester need to keep their nerve and self belief.Plenty of games left, and two wins on the bounce can transform a team in the bottom 6.
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

I am not a number, I am a free man.

Brilliant indeed - "I played in it" !!!!!!

I remember Tommy Lawrence like it was yesterday. Although I was very young, I was a football nut and wanted to be a goalkeeper (at first!).

The golden age of British goalkeepers - Joe Corrigan, Gordon West, Tommy Lawrence, Gordon Banks, Alex Stepney, Bob Wilson, Peter Bonetti, Pat Jennings, Gary Sprake................

glory days indeed. There was also of course the incomparable Eric Martin.....a man who redefined goalkeping ....

Posted it this before, but it pays repeating

Who was the best of all those old goalies then?? (Suppose I want you to say Gordon Banks as a Leicester fan)

                                Gordon Banks - no-brainer.

The best goalkeeper ever. Head and shoulders above all the rest.

Proof? One example, 1970 save against Pele.
