i am having fun watching the highlights from the African Cup on ITV4 .... some spectacular clangers as well as some very exciting football, but this being a cup competition plenty of dull tight play as well ... but a great eventAccording to the best estimates of astronomers there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe.

It never ceases to amaze and annoy me that the BBC, particularly BBC Breakfast TV is in near total denial of any football outside the English and Scottish Premier Leagues. I would have thought that on this morning's programme, in view ot the weather, some of the time spent on the limited interest of American football and Mike Bushell doing stupid things - this week in Holland falling about on ice (good use of the licence fee, not) - might have been better spent updating us on which league matches are being postponed. Given the interest and fan-base for clubs outside the Prem the BBC provides a poor service. Fallen giants in the lower leagues frequently have bigger home crowds than many Prem games!

I watched the Beeb this morning too, cloughie, and had exactly the same thought, BUSHELL REALLY LOOKS AN IDIOT SOMETIMES
Mind you, although I'm sure many games are already called off, some refs or officials don't venture out till 10.00am to make the official inspection and declaration. Tune in later.- - -
