Newcastle United 2 Chelsea 1. Forum derby,Toon back on track,Blues unbeaten run ends.
Liverpool 0 Sunderland 0. Another disappointing performance,lucky to come away with a point.
Spurs 0 Crystal Palace 0. Probably a decent point,could have been so much better against a poor Spurs side.
Blackburn Rovers 1 Sheffield Wednesday 2. Last minute winner secured a super away win.
Derby County 3 Brighton 0.Well beaten by the league leaders,relegation zone.
Dundee 1 Inverness Caledonian Thistle 2. Behind at the break,came back in the second half with a late winner..
St Mirren 0 St Johnstone 1. Conceded very early,goal difference keeps Buddies off the bottom.

Not for the Bulls, though - though I think their troubles are even greater off the pitch than on. Not sure if they will survive to the end of the season...

A good late win for Caley Thistle, though it sounded as though they were a bit lucky. I was sorry to see the Buddies continuing to struggle.

...even that they are playing in the same league as Truro is a sobering thought but I think I may have remarked before that sub-league clubs seem to suffer more than league clubs when they hit financial problems.

At least Caley are scoring goals, aeolium. This week's lame excuse from the ill-named TC followed a bit of disquiet from supporters:
