And a very sad farewell to the king of the sports jacket, the voice of Scottish football for my generation, the great Arthur Montford who has died at 85. He was the frontman for the long running 'Scotsport' on STV commentating on memorable Scottish victories and debacles. He was renowned for classic comments as when the ball was crossed into the penalty area, Arthur would usually say 'and up go the heads', or in any penalty box melee, 'What a stramash!' Fondly remembered.

Citeh very impressive, it has to be said. I was there, and there speed, strength, attitude and skill were very obvious.
also they were pretty niggly right the way through, but, probably think of that as "knowing how to look after yourself".
game was actually there for us to get something till a calamitous mistake for the second.
Saints MoM was Toby unpronounceable, who is absolutely top class. He will get a gig at a CL club , IMO.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

Incidentally, I heard David Pleat commentating on spuds today. he really does talk complete and utter nonsense almost the whole time. Its actually a relief when Alan Green takes over the chat.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.
