Apart from those getting first and second place, 5 out of 9 of the third placed teams will go through to France. A german reporter called it Modus Gähn (jawn mode) Everyone and his dog will qualify.

Some sort of result that it wasn't a greater loss - poor GD at present tells the tale too.

A great roundup as ever, ER. Thanks again for the effort you put in.
County seem to be doing rather better this time around.

Excellent win and this weeks board honours for Leicester, things looking really good for them.

Sadly I didn t have our shared season tickets this week, so lets hope saints have kept a few goals back for 'arry in a couple of weeks time. New team seems to be settling in very well.

Shocker for the ex Saints team.Perhaps they should give Rickie a game.

Thanks Sainty, yes a thrilling win for Leicester.

You didn't do so bad yourselves.

Thank you, ER. Thank goodness the Shire managed a win at last. Onward and upward, then.

No , a great effort from our lads.
Still managing to play some really entertaining football despite the crazy summer.

Koeman rapidly winning the doubters over, and the new players look well up to the job.Koeman Seems to have a great attitude, and have the players right on their game.

Forster is some keeper. Mind you at £10m , you might expect him to be !!

                    played Saints and Villa!

the mention that the Rothermere Rag makes of les bleus is placed well down the page - how nice!

The whole story? Set-piece defending, lack of SAS...

Our Reds can play brilliantly with 2 S's, can just about manage with one, but - our passing game can't yet be fulfilled without them... those boots stick in the mud of un-creativity. And where do the goals come from then?

Poor Balotelli still looked a little-boy-lost after a sneaky kick or two from Senderos, who should have been punished but was scarcely vicious - only Hutton on a misfiring Sterling was that. Hutton should have gone! (Why does Sterling always seem blunted playing alongside, and after playing with, Rooney? Not good.)

Lallana is a Good Boy, should be in the team now, I was sorry when he went off. Markovic looks about as useful as Borini...

Yes Villa had a plan and carried it out, rather like Chelsea last season, Paul Lambert, Hexes, Indian Signs etc...
Fed up today. Even worried about Ludogorets Razgrad now, and I hardly know how to spell it...

On MotD Sparky Hughes couldn't complain about Leisceter's counterattacking hit-and-run tactics in Stoke's 1-0 defeat since, as he said, they had done exactly the same at Manchester City a couple of weeks before.

What's the difference between a safety pin and the Paisley Buddies?
A safety pin has a point...

                            ...oh yes!... and it's safe!

Cheer up, jc. The Buddies are on TV on Friday, at least if you can get to a screen showing BT Sports (or the computer of someone with BT broadband). And playing the Jags who ended ICT's winning run last Saturday - or perhaps that should be: started ICT's losing run....
