My 'other' team much lower down but still in THE CUP! Tamworth. Son-in-law is in the team, might see him on ITV tonight, and maybe tomorrow too when the draw for the next round is made, and they might get some big guns to play!- - -

As for Juke, he's a Southampton boy of course, some of the natives down here are keen to get him on the bus........
I quite liked the look of him, but I think we might be looking for some experience in the window.
Guessing poor old Cov won't be shopping at Harrods this window.........hope they manage to turn it round, L1 is no place for a city like Cov to have its team.I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

Stockport didn't lose (because we didn't play)
Very sorry to hear about Socrates. He was a very fine player, and that 1982 World Cup (with Maradona) seems like yesterday.

Son-in-law and rest of the team are well-pleased, a trip to Everton! Probably get 15-20,000 in the crowd, and it'll be live on TV!- - -

What a magnificent Man City v Arsenal game today. Never mind the likes of Hansen and Neville bemoaning the 'wide spaces' left to attacking players, surely that's the way professional football was originally meant to be played for the entertainment of the paying spectator.
It almost reminded me of that exciting and now legendary Partick Thistle side that lifted its last trophy, the old Glasgow Cup, in 1961 ...

I like partick thistle if only for their name and colours. plus my mate when we were kids had them as his scottish team for no apparent reason. Also, the boy in "Gregory's girl" was a partick fan if memory serves.
anyway, a rather low key Hampshire derby today.....probably everyone went away reasonably content.
The super Saints top at Christmas. First time that has happened in my time !!I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.
