I've texted every gooner in my 'phone's address book. Many have their 'phones switched off. Strange?

The Teddy Bears sent him on loan to St Mirren 8 or 9 years ago, saint - he just looked class then and I still think he is - he was pivotal in the Buddies getting promotion - but I've always had this theory about him, that he fits in best when he's the best player in the team/ lynchpin - he was brilliant at Blackpool because of that, rubbish at Liverpool because the ball wasn't coming through him. And he's got a nasty streak in there (got it at Rangers ), so sparky Marky rates him highly and he's performing at his best - I really think he's a lot more than just a dead ball expert.

We've got a tough one at Tannadice in the cup today - but with Celtic out and a few lower league teams left, there's a few teams thinking this could one of them years.
        Come on you Buddy boys!

PS Suarez, sheer genius...and totally agree with Paul - highlight of yesterday was Suarez hitting the post - best player anywhere at the moment, in my opinion - even better than Big Jim Goodwin.

Crystal Pulis march on with new boys coming good. I do feel sorry for our old boy, Wilf Zaha, despite huge salary and interesting private life dating Moyes's daughter (strongly denied on Twitter) - now stuck down at Cardiff five points below Palace in the League.

interesting thoughts about Adam. There was some intense debate on the Saints boards yesterday, with the majority thinking him a good player, though not the most lovable !!
I had a similar theory about Dean Saunders, who always seemed at his best in less good sides.

I see the buddies are concentrating on the league now.
Suarez better than big Jim? Hmmmm... I saw Suarez at our place last season. He Must be a defenders worst nightmare. It very long odds, but Liverpool are just capable of hanging on in there in the title race, if everybody stays fit.. Their attack is , I think, the fastest I have ever seen.

Well beaten - another competition I can ignore.

I think great teams need a player that scares the living daylights out of the opposition, saint - like thon Welsh guy who played for Spurs - take him out the team and opposition lose the fear - when Henrik played for Celtic opponents were always worried - they know these folk can do something special - that French chap who played for Arsenal, Thierry, he was another. Suarez is that guy with Liverpool, and the rest of the team reap the benefit of the space he makes - I think they are good outsiders.

It seems that beating Manchester United has become akin to stealing sweets from children. Whoever would have thought it?

It also seems that SCFC can't stop wiining EA.

yup, well deserved by the look of it.

Good times for both of our teams , Alison. The QPR defeat won't hurt your chances.

Some celebratory Poulenc Gloria at TS towers !!

seems Stockport are on a roll too.
