Watford 2 Brighton 0. Losing touch with the play off places.
Celtic 1 St Mirren 0. Conceded a very early goal,9th.

    Scottish League Cup,semi final,

Hearts 2 Inverness Caledonian Thistle 2.Last minute equaliser and through on penalties.

Hides the story of the game Rob - Cally were down to 9 men, snatched a late equaliser and held on in extra time to get to the shoot-out, which they won - Aberdeen in the final - they've not won anything in donkeys!
I heard Chelsea were just going to go up the M6 and drive straight onto the park!

However, I'm not too keen on this "forum teams" idea. The idea of Chelsea winning doesn't please me at all. Both the teams who played last night are as bad as each other when it comes to buying their trophies.

But surely each of us has a different "group of teams". I have one in each division/league - all in the north, apart from League 2 where I follow AFC Wimbledon.
In the Welsh League, I support Bangor City.

But if any of those teams played Stockport County, there would be only one choice.

                          ....not to mention Fulham

watched the match last night but could not bear to watch most of it they were so poor .... Rene Meulensteen has Ray Wilkins and Alan Curbishley alongside in the management team .... they should pick up on Laudrup and replace the three of them?

                          ooh er perhaps not Laudrup

Thanks as always for the round-up, ER and well done to Stockport.

The Hearts v Inverness game was grand, with heroic defending by the 9 in extra time. It won't be easy playing the final without any centre backs though....

After some lacklustre performances earlier in the season, Chelsea were really impressive against MC, Matic and Hazard being the real stand out players imo. That Mourinho is a master of tactics (as with the Inter Milan win against the all-conquering Barcelona some seasons ago).

rather to my surprise, Shelvey was quite outstanding at our place this season.
Maybe just a good day at the office. Actually Swansea played "good football" but lost. Their problems are all too obvious. Can't score and leak goals.Problems in those areas mean only trouble.

Good to see Stockport doing well.
As for Chelsea, they got their reward for an enterprising display at city. Got to take your hat off to the special one tm
I gave a cautious tip for Chelsea for the title on here a while back , and I don't see any reason to go back on that.

Oddly, I bet if you had offered JM a draw with WHU and a win at city he would probably have taken it !
