nope, especially as we don't get a sell on fee.

Any exciting deadline day transfers for our teams?

I thought I heard the trace of a Scouse accent last night! But I didn't know he'd been with your own esteemed club. (Don't want to sound like a lower-league snob, but I stopped following the Premiership after we got relegated to the Championship, then the Combined Counties League).

But of course Dons fans have a lot to thank you for in the form of Kevin Cooper, our first-ever WISA Player of the Year!

                  its the modern way Beefy.

or so I have read !!

Well done indeed to SRL. He really is great to watch, and hopefully an inspiration to those who don't get everything at an early age.
Really hope he gets to go to the World cup. That must be a wonderful experience, especially down Rio way.

The Edgeley Park learning experience is clearly a slow burn .

Going to the world cup is pretty much my only (realistic) unfulfilled football ambition.

I always keep an eye on Wrexham as they are Ams' team. He may not have heard this:
Wrexham assistant manager Billy Barr on BBC Radio Wales:
"First half we were solid but we didn't create a lot and in the second half I thought we just waited for them to score.
"It's a struggle at the moment but we have to dig deep and come through it. Nobody's going to feel sorry for us.
"Everybody enjoys playing Wrexham anyway and a Wrexham team that's not at the top of their game, people are going to enjoy it even more. We have to get back to it as quick as we can."

There is some perverse North Walian logic there!

After reaching the play-offs in the last three seasons, I guess there had to be a negative reaction.

Wrexham has a reputation from long ago of being giant-killers too. Now that the fans own the club I hope that they can dig deep and perhaps buy in some new talent.

Me, I'm just waiting to win a few squillion on EuroLotto so I can help them out.

i am filled with foreboding about tonight's Engerland fixture ...........
According to the best estimates of astronomers there are at least one hundred billion galaxies in the observable universe.
