Hmmmm very interesting. Good spot Alison.
I am not well up with my local team I am afraid, but life is seldom dull at the Ray mac these days !!

Good luck to Mikey, going to be a big challenge.

Fayed's ownership will be considered glowingly by the vast majority of Fulham's supporters, the club having risen from the third tier to the Premier League to enjoy arguably the most consistently successful period in their history. They reached the Europa League final in 2010 under Roy Hodgson, and are established in an ultra-competitive top-flight. The forthcoming campaign will be their 13th in succession in the division.
hear hear thank you Mr Fayed!

yep it's a bloke thing innit

actually it is Jose who has caught my eye, he is driving a knife into the ribs over Wayne and the Reds .... inconceivable that he really wants to buy him, but he is scoring a hit on Moyes and the Reds before a ball is kicked ... and Wayne could be in a temper all season long ....

O Special One está de volta!

Legendary Manchester City goalkeeper Bert Trautmann has died at the age of 89, it has been announced.

Trautmann, who is understood to have suffered two heart attacks this year, passed away on Friday morning at his home in La Losa, near Valencia.

The former German prisoner of war will always be remembered for helping City win the FA Cup in 1956 despite playing for the last 17 minutes with a broken neck.

Let's face it the Special One is p'd off with Moyes 'cos he got the job he wanted - he then missed a trick by not pitching for the City job so now it's

                      The question is:

                      The right move?

                      An interesting season ahead!

Someone was saying to me , recently, that the way that the special one entered football, was being hired by Bobby Robson, when he was manager at Porto, as an interpreter! Not being na footballer this was Mourinho's entry in the world of football!

                            Here's a sad retirement:

One of the most recognisable voices in British broadcasting is to retire after 40 years reading the classified football results.

I think I recall him saying once that the score he most wanted to read out was East Fife 4 Forfar 5 (or was it Forfar 4 East Fife 5?) but I'm not sure he ever had the chance...

Even better would be a latest score,East Fife 5 Forfar so far 4.
