Thought I'd break into the croquet season to mention a very fine win in Zagreb tonight by Strachan's makeshift mob (aka the Scotland Round Ball 11) against the mighty Croatia. Well worth the three points, and though they long lost any hope of emulating Hope and Crosby, they may have some say in deciding who does get on that road to Rio.

It's a long time since I've seen a Scottish side put together more than three passes in a row.
It was a controlled, professional performance by this supposed bunch of 'no-hopers'. Not something I can ever remember saying about even the most accomplished Scottish teams of the past!
