    Clutching at straws time.

Brighton are assured of a play off place already and can't improve their position,so may rest players for the games to come.
Wolves can only catch Peterborough who are at Palace (a forum team),now Palace need to win to be assured of a play off place.
Wolves would need to overturn a goal difference of 4 though.I think.
    Forgot about Huddersfield v Barnsley.
    I give up
    You never know.

I am starting to get complex and neurotic feelings about the impending playoffs. If Palace were to lose out in them either to Brighton (hated local rivals) or Bolton (managed by D. Friedman who deserted us mid-season) it would be even more insufferable than for Palace not to make the playoffs at all.

Wrexham's second visit to Wembley this season coming up on Sunday for the Conference play-off final against Newport - let's hope that this positive experience proves decisive

Benteke has looked like a top player this season - what with toon getting humped by 'pool at the weekend, and last night's result, it changes a goal difference by 11 in AV's favour - worth an extra point at this time of the season. Like Steve Clarke, I like Lambert and not just because they're both former Buddies - though it helps.

Thing is, it's always set as a benchmark but 40 points might not be enough to guarantee survival in the PL this year.

Lots of over shoulder glancing...nervous Saints fans are looking at what might be if we lose at spuds on satdee........

incidentally, I am the proud owner of a football signed by the Motherwell team when Lambert was there.

You may well ask how this came to be a prize in a draw at Lymington town Fc !!

How did a football signed by the Motherwell team when Lambert was there come to be a prize in a draw at Lymington town Fc, ts?

There's still a few six-pointers out there in the PL - we've had ours - we lost it. Dundee 8 points back with 3 games to play - where's the nervous emoticon when you need it?

Anyway, surely the Buddies are safe..realistically just a point needed?

The nervous emoticon is now on a Hampshire CCC site , near the batsmen's names.....

Well, for me, i would love Seagulls to get promoted and stay up this time, unlike the last time it happened!

                          Millwall 0 Crystal Palace 0.

Palace could have sealed a play off place tonight. They now need a win on the last day and could do Wolves a favour by beating Peterborough by a big margin.

Chelmsford 1 Salisbury City 0.89th minute penalty.
Blue Square south play off semi final, first leg, maybe more success on the cards for the forum ?
