Imagine the post match manager interview if it had been Man Utd on the wrong end of an equaliser scored after six minutes and forty seven seconds of six minutes overtime by a player who should not have been on the pitch !
The Round Ball Game

ER, thanks for your kind words, but we haven't given up yet. In fact, yesterday at Priestfield was one of the most memorable games ever. We were down and out at half-time, but came out fighting for the second half, tactics tweaked, and scored two unbelievable goals (unbelievable in the sense that no-one would have thought it possible to come back from two goals down). We were all over them in the last 20 minutes, nearly scored a winner (hit the upright) and they were resorting to hoofing the ball into touch at every opportunity. In the end, it was their fans baying for full time, not ours!
We now have our destiny in our own hands -- with Daggers at home next Saturday to York, a win for us against Fleetwood keeps us up. Anything else and we're down. The good thing is that our back-to-back fight-backs have given the team confidence. In a way, it's better to know it's win or bust, rather than only needing a point, because in that case, we might be tempted to play defensively, then go down to a breakaway goal.
It's still finely-balanced as to whether we make it, but we've everything to play for next week.
And yes, thanks for confirming that the frannies aren't going up. It will be interesting to see how long Winkelman stays involved.

Commiserations indeed ER
In the Conference Wrexham led for much of the season but in the end wound up the last team in the play-off zone.
I have to hope that our recent winning performance at Wembley will stand us in good stead as & when
