Unless something has gone on behind the scenes, (and in the hot house of Pl survival it may well have) it still seems that they are throwing away their best chance of survival.
But who knows? perhaps their board know more than we do !!

Henrik. A joy to watch. unless you were a defender.....
I don't disagree, ts, and I'm not really sure why they waited so long - seems to me that whether you agree or otherwise, Southampton made their move early enough for it to make a difference...Sunderland and Reading have made a panic decision too late, as far as I can see. I assume Reading reckon your old boss can get them back up after next season, but I don't know what Sunderland think. MO'N has been a disappointment at Sunderland - I'm not sure why, but he's never looked comfortable up there and since the beginning of the season has been complaining about his squad - can't see how that brings out the best in them. I suppose you can pick one out of half a dozen for the drop alongside the bottom two, but I think the third side for relegation will come from the North East of England.

...and Scotty hit the nail on the head with regard to Larsson. Everything you want in a player, whether they play for your team or not.

Agreed, the fact that he is held in such high regard by fans of so many clubs tells it's own story.

How else could he have got a cherished UTD gig without such qualities?

1 Think it has been for a while but the club will live on to fight another campaign which was doubtful not too long ago.
2 Indeed precarious our win was important as will be Monday's match at Ashton Gate.

May some good fortune come to County soon!

Nice to see Cloughie back amongst us ! Going to be a right old scrap to avoid the drop to L1, but I feel the Owls have plenty of experience to see them through.

Good point for the Buddies this afternoon.

Great to have you back Cloughie, hope you are well.
Thanks for your kind words re SCFC.
Sheffield Weds is a strange one, following them this season, it seems that just when you think they are pulling away from danger they seem to get dragged back into it.

Thanks for the welcome back TS and Edge. I'm fine - just a self-imposed non-religious Lenten break. The Owls revival was set back by playing a few near top of the table sides - at least we managed to beat Leicester and Palace! The way wins are coming at the bottom end of the table 54 is probably the safety target.

Well, B & HA, just in the top 6. Just hoping they beat Charlton Athletic, a home match, then they be the same position as Palace!

Palace have lost three on the trot and are still 4th. Very tight mid-table in Championship. Only 13 points between relegation and play-off. Some teams could theoretically still go either way (Leeds?)

Truro City 2 Basingstoke 2.Rare point.

It's no fun at the moment ts,that's what you get for supporting a crap team but when it's in your blood you have no choice.
Two must win games (cliche alert)coming up against Alfreton and Dartford.
A local derby v Altrincham would be interesting though.

Fulham 3 QPR 1 at half time, not looking good for Rangers.

Loyalty is about all we have, ER,

Been pretty lucky with my home town club over 40 plus years.
Lots of great players, some terrific teams, some Cup final appearances, so I really can't complain,
But we have had some bad times, notably the last 2 years of our 4 years in the championship, when we were dreadful, and it gave us a taste of what so many fans go through, often year after year.
Times haven't always been great for Stockport, but it must be tough seeing your team in such a poor position.
Take heart from the Saints. Three years ago we were In administration and looking at our first spell in the third tier in my lifetime.
And now.....ok, we are in a relegation struggle, but we just beat citeh, Liverpool and chelsea at home.

Better times will surely come, ER.
