AVB really wanted that win....best team put out....isn't Scott Parker a marvel, keeps going to the end, intercepting , tackling, making himself available....team really playing for each other....and obviously enjoying bthe outing from the start....
....found the Newcastle match a bit boring (pitch didn't suit the players , I think)....Obertan really is a waste of space (just as he was at ManU)

yes it was boring but according to plan and yes Obertan has been a complete waste of space ever since i first clapped eyes on him .... lousy crosses, loses the ball, too fast for accuracy etc

to think Parker could still be playing for les bleus

Good luck to our teams this weekend,I see there are a few forum derbies.

You've got to hand it to Carlos Tevez.
Driving whilst banned,if he is found guilty the 12 points will put city level with united.
            Tactical masterstroke.

Extraordinary game at Everton btw,Wigan 3-0 up,3 goals in 4 minutes, home fans heading for the exits already, crikey.

Saving ourselves for the final next Sunday, Rob -not often you get to go to Hampden and support the team in a big Final - a week stretches ahead of dreams of glory and fingernails bitten to the quick!

Yes the top of the Conference Premiership is mighty tight and Wrexham should have won today. However Wrexham has the points on the board and scored the goals so it's up to them to restore some winning consistency and put the pressure on everyone else. This year, surely?

...managed to get one. There's a bit of contention because a section of Hampden is being given to Hearts' fans rather than St Mirren. Anyway, best to be the underdog.

Agreed. We need to get some silverware in nice and early....we have a big season to match from last year.

(PS anybody seen the Championship runners up trophy.?...Saints fans have never seen it !!)
