After three games goal-free, Saints managed a nice wee two zero against the Jam Tarts last night - what with them being our opponents in the final at Hampden on St Paddy's day it was a timely win and raises us to the heady heights of third bottom - best fun was that it was on BBC Alba - always a fun time listening to the Gaelic for Goal!

trouble is that Rafa is probably right .... but he is still losing more games than RdM

              A peach, verily.

Well, today it was confirmed why Beckham came to France to play football, it's not that he had a great urge to play football in France and be paid for it, no, there he was with Zidane standing in front of a huge board with the name Adidas on it. He even said Zidane was a gentleman, but didn't mention when Z headbutted someone on the field in front of a world-wide audience.

So he came to France to get millions from Adidas. Oh and his Paris salary will go to charity - I expect that will mean he can therefore pay less tax on his Adidas salary.

Funny the logic that goes on in footie - we've got Celtic again, this time in the Scottish Cup this lunchtime. Of course we beat them last time out, and we won midweek and they took a beating from Motherwell - so of course the logic says that we haven't got a hope of progressing ...come on you Saints....and of course all the best to almost all the Boardee teams out there for the weekend.

I notice that ER had to escape to Germany to avoid the embarrassment of Stockport's home defeat by Hereford midweek

Have fun if you are off out to a game, and good luck to all the board teams, (except QPR )today.
