question 2.) what is this thing called "footie"?

A killjoy writers: If I've had some lunch, I tend not not feel hungry by 3.45. On the occasions when I have had a half time pie, it has involved fairly lengthy queueing for something which is not usually a delicacy and is so hot you can't eat it in the time available.

Surely both had been invented in the 18th Century, where you reside?

Sounds and sweet airs, that give delight and hurt not.
            Sometimes a thousand twangling instruments
Will hum about mine ears, and sometime voices..."

Watching St Mirren v Ross County on tv at the moment as part of my forum football reporter duties, currently 1-4.
Won't be venturing out to watch our game though, going to have a listen to Billy Budd instead.(Nagano).
Last edited by EdgeleyRob; 19-01-13, 14:24. Reason: St Mirren shot themselves in the foot for the 2nd the 3rd was quality and every time I edit the post St Mirren concede a goal

Just imagine the business to be done with a "Mrs Miggins" concession at a major stadium!

I think we are onto something !

bit "wind taken out of sails" really, Alison. Irritated by Reading winning, so getting back on track a little, I guess..
Oddly, it's rather soothed relegation fears...Monday night will be odd...but its football. The king is dead etc...
Still sad. In 40+ years, I haven't often seen more entertaining Saints teams than the last 2 years.
NA will at least always be a club legend .it might even be good for him. Left on a high, can't get relegated, will get a top championship job at least. C'est la vie.

LCFC still flying. I wouldn't be surprised if we swap places again in May !

Dr Brahms is soothing me back to equilibrium !!
