FGR is in Nailsworth. quite how they have a team in the conference is a mystery, its a very small place. I guess they pull support from the stroud area.
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.
Not bothered about pies, in any case, I looked at their half-time food menu (you can access it on-line at their website) and the sashimi looks pretty good at £21.75

It's strong local backing and not a little luck as on one, maybe two, occasions they avoided relegation because of the misfortunes of sides suffering adminstration. It would appear that the Conference are harder on clubs than the league and are knocked down a couple of grades or more eg Halifax, Boston, Chester, Darlington - more like the Scottish FA than the Football League. Where would Portsmouth be now under those rules? FG appears to be a very well run club.
Please can someone explain to me why so many people in London support Manchester United, if it isn't as glory supporters? It isn't as if to say there are no clubs in the capital to choose from.

Ok, here goes. Two explanations.
1) It's about football Alps, but not as you know it.
2) You only live once, why ruin it by following a crap team?

FGR have done really well. Bashley in the southern league is a tiny place too.
You are right about the conference. They are MUCH tougher on administrations. Salisbury got kicked out without any ceremony !
