I remember this paradox coming home to me most forcefully one Saturday when an old mate and I went to Upton Park in the afternoon and then headed into town to hear the Vienna Phil.... The seats were of comparable position in the relevant venue.... the Hammers' 90 minutes cost about twice as much as the VPO's 2 hours...
