Er no, work...plus it ended up at 420 miles.... (lots of listening time)....good days selling though, the public won't go short of a good read this Xmas if we have anything to do with it !!

No I am passing on tomorrows game..I share 2 Season tickets with 3 others and its not my day.
£35 on the day for the cheapest seat means I am picking my games.
Trouble is it's more nerve racking when you aren't there.
    Thanks for asking though !
Who have LCFC got this weekend?

I 'll allow Rob E to pass on all mentions of Man U (results)....I do know how you feel Rob, I feel that way about them myself a lot of the time....I do not like the manager or a lot of the players....but after 50 years nearly, it's in me bloods....( at least they are a proving ground for a lot of GB players, rather than 100% bought in stars....)....

Fair points. The one good thing about united is that they have earned their right to be at the top...huge support, no daft dodgy money to"buy" championships...and as you say, they instill good habits in their youngsters.
They had their wilderness years too...

ts With this evening's encounter with 'boro I fear a return to the dreaded bottom 3 this weekend - a discussion in the pub last night with friends whose allegiances are with Leicester (yes Alison you are not alone) and Brighton, I did not rise to the potential abuse but merely commented on my disappointment with the Owls progress in the Championship - actually it is the first season in a few that all three of our sides have competed in the same division so hopefully it will be an interesting season - jc if you know of good players in Scotland please contact Mr D Jones at Sheffield 6. I see HT is 1-0 down!

Leicester City versus Nottingham Forest in a lunchtime kick off.

I'm almost as keen to see the Saints do well; Nigel Adkins comes over as a top notch guy.

The football equivalent of Martyn Brabbins maybe.

Spicy one, Leicester/Forest. Should be fun.
Nige also talks interesting stuff...he has clearly read stuff on states of mind/consciousness etc. The fans, those with brains..are right behind him. Crunch games coming up though. Defeat tomorrow would be pretty disastrous.
As for the owls...DJ will get them up the league...he also is one of the good guys. Edit...maybe starting next week?!

I am fully expecting a heavy defeat for Hereford away to Wrexham, which will please am51. All of Hereford's strikers apart from loan players are injured and they can barely field a full team plus subs.

Followers of this thread may wish to take this test to see how they would fare as referees - I saw it on another forum. My score: 5 out of 12

Wrexham's goalie's on a three-match ban so maybe that'll even things out a bit, aeolium

Bigger battle off the pitch for Hereford I think (they are 1-0 up btw).
6 out of 12 for me in the ref test, blimey.
                    Good luck to our teams.

                    Leicester winning too.

For nine minutes it looked as if my weekly supermarket shop would be paid for
                            by Sainty's team. What a shame !

At least Nigel avoided the much feared home defeat.

Oh dear, sorry Alison. It is a sad state of affairs that even horses are more reliable than footballers.
disappointing , but perhaps a small step in the right direction
not the worst point LCFC will get all season, although you need those home wins to get promotion.
We drew with league 1 bound poopey last season and still finished second !
